The building looks nice but the area is noisy; more attention to cleaning details would help.

The room was beautiful and very spacious, the beds were super comfy, the bathroom was spectacular—remodeled and everything worked flawlessly, all spotless. What made the stay even more wonderful was Filippo’s service; he was in touch before we arrived to make sure we got there safely and settled in the best way possible, and thanks to him our visit to Santa Croce Camerina was unforgettable.

“Die Lage ist sehr zentral und die Unterkunft war insgesamt in Ordnung, daher würden wir wiederkommen.”

We liked the cozy bed, the somewhat older but still nice décor, the upper‑floor room was fine, and we knew there was no lift beforehand so it didn’t bother us. However, ants were in the shower, the room wasn’t cleaned during our two‑day stay (no one came over, though it was a Sunday in between), there was no one on site so we had to call for key hand‑over, the arrival info appeared late on Booking, the exterior of the property was unmarked making it hard to find, and we even had to ask a bar across the street to locate the accommodation.

“Sehr schöne Unterkunft in einem netten kleinen Ort”

The host was very friendly and accommodating, we were allowed to park our bikes inside, the room was very large with beautiful exposed brick walls, the bathroom was small but tidy. The downside was that the room couldn’t be darkened and street noise was audible.
