The hotel sits in a good spot and features a small swimming pool, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The stay was the best we’ve had with family and friends; the staff were friendly and took care of everything we needed. The view and swimming pool were great, and the family rooms were excellent.

Don’t be fooled by the name—there’s no river and it’s not a resort; it’s just a couple of buildings still under construction. The property is on a secluded road, far from everything else, and it’s completely dark and deserted at night. The room itself is spacious, but the bathroom fittings are problematic. I booked for two days, and on the second day a power cut occurred. I thought we’d be out for a few hours and the power would return, but we were gone for over six hours and still had no electricity by 4 PM. I was told there was a shutdown—no explanation, no ETA, just told to deal with it. When we decided to leave, the receptionist didn’t even come out, just told us to leave the keys and leave, and I could hear him telling someone else nearby in Tamil that we had already paid so it didn’t matter if we left early. I reached out for support, explaining that I had to cut my trip short because the heat was unbearable with the power off and requested a refund for the day we couldn’t stay there, as the room’s listed amenities were unusable without power. They took five days to respond, saying they would support their customers and provide a satisfactory resolution. A week later, after another reminder, I was told the resort refused the refund, claiming there was nothing they could do. The overall experience was absolutely pathetic, with a “don’t care” attitude from the hotel, a lack of empathy, and no support. I would recommend staying elsewhere and booking through a different, more reliable website that holds hotels accountable when things go wrong.

There was no food available at the property. When I asked about dinner, they said I would have to go to the city and bring my own food because their kitchen is closed for 2–3 months due to construction. I had a four‑year‑old daughter with me, so I had to cancel my stay after two nights and book another hotel. I specifically chose a remote location in the middle of nature to relax, but because there was no lunch or dinner and no Swiggy or Zomato available, I had to go to town and bring food every time. They only offered basic breakfast and tea. I complained, but to this day I see no action and hope something will be done.
