“Did not stay. Closed.”
I never got any notice that the hotel was closed, so I arrived to find it shut down.

Driving into the parking lot felt amazing, the staff were super friendly and knew great local restaurants, my room had neat, comfortable beds, and breakfast was great – highly recommend.

The place was shut down and no one called; my booking was confirmed up to the day I arrived, yet I had no hotel in West Virginia because it was closed.

The hotel was CLOSED, with a printed notice taped to the sliding glass doors and no calls, texts, or emails from anyone. I called, and they said it had been closed for a couple of days and that since I booked through a third party they were not responsible for informing me. They happily charged my card, but when I tried to get help I was sent to an AI chat that couldn't assist and had to wait over 30 minutes for a human; nothing has been done to make up for this.
