The property is beautiful, close to the airport, and well priced. We didn’t get the king room we booked, but that wasn’t a deal‑breaker. We were told parking cost $15/day unless you were a Hyatt Rewards member; I renewed my membership because it was linked to an old email and was told the fee would be waived, yet a pending charge now appears on my credit card. I’m waiting to see if it clears before I call.

The spot was spot on for what we needed, the room was spotless and the bed felt like a cloud. The staff at check‑in were friendly and helpful, but the woman at the front desk on checkout morning was barely polite. I handed her the keys for both rooms I’d rented and told her they were checked out. She took the keys, didn’t say anything, and I waited at the counter while she just said “you’re good.” When I asked if she could email me a receipt, she nodded and looked away, and I still haven’t received it.

The airport shuttle service is excellent! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Very good breakfast. The evening dining options are limited, but at least they have some options on site, which is convenient for a tired traveler

The room was huge, and after ten days in the backcountry it was a relief to have a restaurant/bar on site—especially after I’d already returned my car. It was great to grab food and a beer right there.

It was even better than our stay two weeks earlier because we discovered the hotel has a heated indoor pool, which we used both evenings and mornings. It was brilliantly clean, and every employee took pride in their work. The hotel excelled in cleanliness, price, welcome, service, comfort, room size, and facilities. I’m not paid to write this review, nor am I related to anyone who works there or the owning company. Take a bow, Hyatt Place SLC—you’ve set the bar very high, and many thanks for a short but wonderful stay.
