The price was great and the staff were very friendly. The hotel itself was clean and the room was spacious. We used the dinner without a reservation and it was good value. However, the road to get there involved passing through a very small village, and before we could see the hotel we felt uneasy, thinking there might not be a good place ahead.

The scenery was wonderful and the hot spring was clean. The hot spring was not open all the time.

The breakfast was fine. The onsen had to be paid for separately even though the room rate was already high, and the staff didn’t explain it well. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived, which was a big disappointment.
