A truly magical place, simply wonderful.

Nice people, great nature, would come back. REMEMBER! Many salamanders there that need urgent protection, and the accommodation provides good information about them! Unfortunately a double booking happened; we were rerouted to an apartment in the main house. It would have been best to call after booking, which we didn’t do. Otherwise everything was really great.

The location on a very remote and quiet forest edge with a rushing stream right by the wagon was very pleasant – pure nature. It served well as a starting point for hikes. The wagon could be heated easily with a gas heater, which was essential in the low outside temperatures. The accommodation in the circus wagon was already quite extraordinary. Communication with the host was straightforward and friendly. The area turned out to be more cramped than expected. The “kitchen” setup was satisfactory to good for small, simple meals. Using the bath in the main building was quite awkward because the water was sometimes turned off. Likewise, using the bath in a separate apartment felt odd. The separate bath was not initially planned but later made available elsewhere. Using the bath and sink in a second annex was cumbersome because an extra key was required, which wasn’t always available. The area itself lacks good inns, and opening hours are very limited.
A fantastic spot to unwind, reset, and detox, yet everything you need for a comfortable life is here, set in a magnificent forest and garden area that gradually makes you part of nature, treated with great respect and appreciation. This place blends energizing vibes with pleasant hospitality. We felt a warm welcome throughout, even though we stayed in the private spaces of the house community. Every corner reveals how much love for detail and craftsmanship goes into creating this gem, and you can see the effort involved.
