“Very disappointing and unpleasant”

The view was nice. The place was crawling with geckos and infested with ants, and all our belongings were chewed by ants by the time we left. There was no hot water for the showers, and the AC didn’t work at first; after back‑and‑forth with the front desk it finally worked, but later that night a power outage at about 2:00 am lasted the rest of the night, so we couldn’t sleep in the August heat. The owner/manager was extremely rude and unprofessional when dealing with the issue; instead of being understanding he told me “what I paid for the night barely covers the breakfast and the employees’ paychecks.” All in all, it was a terrible experience and I would never recommend it.

“Un'oasi in mezzo al deserto”

An oasis in the middle of the desert, but still close to Marrakech! We really liked the spacious room and its little balcony, the pool, and the food!

“A Hidden Gem – Absolutely Worth Every Penny”

Views & Atmosphere: Breathtaking scenery in a peaceful, uncrowded, and relaxing environment. Rooms: Very spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with excellent room and shower amenities. Pool: Beautiful and well-maintained swimming pool. Food: Fresh and delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Staff: Incredibly professional, friendly, and welcoming. Definitely worth the money and highly recommended!. All good

“Ein ruhiger schöner Ort zum Entspannen”

The houses were beautifully decorated, clean, roomy, and stocked with everything needed (even a small wardrobe, which was unusual on our Morocco trip). Both the breakfast and the offered dinner were very good and plentiful, and we found the dinner prices fair. Tougya was a lovely spot to unwind after our South Morocco journey. The accommodation is easily reachable by car. It’s a bit close to a road, but we knew that when we booked and accepted it. If that bothers you, keep it in mind. The early June sun was already pretty intense during the day. The place still offers a bit too little shade by the pool and on the grounds, for example in front of the main house. Though it’s better than it was a year ago. I have to say we were helped in a very caring and straightforward way when we raised the issue, and we ended up able to sit in the shade. So no real reason to deduct points. However, there was a storm this year that apparently damaged some of the shade at the main house. I hope they’ll soon add more shaded spots both on the grounds and by the pool.

The calmness was great. The location with its landscapes. The room and the facilities. The only downside was that they only accept cash for restaurant purchases.
