The view and the staff's kindness were great, nothing to add.
“Une étape incroyable dans un endroit magique et plein de poésie.”
The view of Inverlodge harbor and the evening meal were lovely, but there was no elevator.
“Hervorragendes Hotel mit kleinen Defiziten”
The hotel sits nicely above the remote town of Lochinver, offers a large parking lot, an appealing lobby, a very good but somewhat spartan restaurant, and very comfortable rooms; dinner and breakfast were excellent. However, from the outside the building looked uninteresting—almost dull. We arrived in the afternoon and found no staff at the reception, and the terrace was unseated; anyone wanting to sit in the sun had to take a chair from the restaurant, which doesn't match the unusually high room rates for Scotland.
“buono”
The hotel was pretty anonymous but comfortable for visiting the northern UNESCO heritage sites, though the village itself felt a bit desolate.
The location was beautiful with a view over Lochinver, yet the furnishings—especially in the restaurant—and the carpets were worn out, and the duvets smelled damp.
