Cleanliness and a room of adequate size were appreciated. Our stay was very unpleasant. For one of the three nights we couldn’t sleep because a private party on the balcony of the building next door, directly below our window, went on until late at night. At 2 a.m. we asked the guests for quiet and they even insulted us. The reception’s handling of the situation was terrible. I explained the incident to the man, gave him my name and room number, and offered to wait for the police. He refused, saying he would handle it himself. Shortly after he called our room, convinced the noise was coming from there, and my partner had to explain everything again. After 20 minutes he told us he had called the police, but they had already left without locating the source of the noise. The proposed solution? Earplugs. We were not the only ones who complained that night! Our complaint was ignored. We didn’t sleep all night and the next day we had to leave early because of exhaustion. We were given the manager’s email, assuring us he would arrange a refund for one night, as requested (not all three). In the end the refund was denied. We were offered breakfast, which we declined because it wasn’t what we had asked for. We also want to mention that when we arrived at 23:00 for check‑in, we rang the bell and another reception guy arrived after a full five minutes while we were still outside the hotel. An entirely under‑whelming hotel, with almost no customer care and a completely inadequate problem management.

Overall a good experience and we enjoyed the location. It’s safe and convenient to stay here with the Metro and bus several meters away. There’s a McDonald’s within 300 m and Donimos within 100 m. The lift was a bit too small, but that’s common in Barcelona.

The hotel is cozy and nice, located well. The breakfast was excellent. Occasionally, the bathroom smelled faintly of garbage.
