Anook Hotel and Spa Daejeon Yuseong

Normally these types of places get worried about humidity from the spa, but there were two fans that let the dampness go out quickly so it stayed dry; it was clean enough for me and my child to stay worry‑free, and the staff were very courteous, which I really appreciated. The downside was that the car was parked in the underground lot and there was no separate elevator to the first floor, so carrying a suitcase up was a bit of a struggle—though if you have no luggage it’s not a big deal.

Honestly the cleaning wasn’t up to par, which was a bit disappointing.

“If you want to stay in Daejeon, dont stay in this hotel.”

The bathtub was decent, but I couldn’t check in until 6 pm, we weren’t allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel, we couldn’t see the room, and it was dirty; the area is full of nightclubs and massage parlours, and the staff were rude and uncaring.

The location between Yuseong Oncheon Station and the highway terminal is good and the facilities are decent, but the noise of things clattering while I slept made it hard to get a good night’s rest.
