The hotel sits in a small fishing port right next to the sanctuary; it’s a small, welcoming place. The room comes with a terrace overlooking the harbor. The meals are hearty, homemade, and use local ingredients.

We stayed in the annex building and liked it a lot. The town is small, quiet, and beautiful. The food was delicious, and we were prepared to eat a lot of great seafood. Everyone from Fukumakan was very friendly, and we enjoyed the time spent with them. It was just as we imagined the place.
