I've been to a lot of hotels around the world, and I've seen my fair share of DIY fixes. But this place took the cake - or rather, the bucket. I had to use it as a makeshift toilet because there wasn't one, and the shower was a disaster. The temperature was stuck on ice, and the handrail was broken. Luckily, I'm a bit of a handyman, so I was able to MacGyver some solutions. I fixed the showerhead, tightened the taps, and even connected the toilet and sink.

The hotel had its good points, like a spotless and comfy room, which was a relief after a long day. The garden and outdoor seating area were also a highlight – it was lovely to grab a bite or a coffee there. However, the noise levels were a major issue, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. Overall, it was a decent place to stay, but the noise was a real problem.
