The room view, the common area, the convenience of having water, coffee, bikes, and more were great, and the bed was comfy. The room was too small for all my luggage, though still cozy. The location made it hard to eat at the lodge. The restaurant’s value was poor; it was pricey compared to similar places, so you’re forced to eat there when options are limited. The dinner service was inconsistent: we ordered the set menu both nights, but one night had little food and the other was adequate. Note that there’s no fixed menu besides the set menu, which you only learn on the day. So you either take the set menu or a shared option of 1 starter, 2 mains, and 1 dessert, with the same choices as the set menu; nothing else.

“Perfeito!”

Everything was wonderful! I can’t put into words how amazing the days at Pizzorno were. The whole team was very friendly, the place is beautiful, the wines are excellent, we loved the set dinner, breakfast, and the tour. The room we stayed in was small but very comfortable, and the shower was fantastic. The common areas were also great—comfortable, pretty, and well equipped. I want to go back! The hotel was empty, so they could have upgraded us; that would have been a nice extra touch.
