“Mooi hotel. Vriendelijke staff. Ik raad dit aan!”

This place really deserves a pat on the back! The deluxe room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and had a balcony overlooking the rice fields, where I could enjoy a beautiful sunset as dessert. The hotel is a bit remote from, say, a supermarket, but the staff offer free scooter use, which makes everything better. I was not told about breakfast, and when I woke up early there was an Indonesian tray ready, but it was somewhat lukewarm by the time I reached it.

The staff were cordial, but the water was cold, there was no shower (only a small water tap), no window, no breakfast, and they would bring you anything you asked for from the supermarket; there was neither a table nor a chair to eat on.

“Enjoyed Pacitan so much”

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable—though I would have preferred a top sheet instead of just a blanket—room service was available whenever needed, the staff were delightful and knowledgeable, the establishment was super clean, quiet, and offered gorgeous mountain views if you were in an upstairs room. The location was convenient between Panca Door beaches and the town centre. We ❤️ Pacitan! The bathroom had no hot water for showers, was cramped, and the sink was hard to use because of the toilet placement; I expected an internal chain‑lock for night security, which I did not find in Indonesian hotels. Finally, breakfast was best enjoyed outside; the fried egg, toast, lettuce leaf, and tomato slices were rather sad, and we were offered guava juice on the first day but not thereafter.
