They bumped us up for $20 a night to a room twice the size of what we booked, complete with a balcony, and the breakfast spread was incredible, featuring two areas with endless options. The downside? It’s close to the train station, so the crowd that hangs around later in the day and night can be a bit annoying, but you can walk the other way from the hotel to avoid them.

Many strengths: the location has a tram stop right in front, the staff are friendly and helpful, the room and bed are comfortable, everything is perfect. The building isn’t new, but all the positives cover the minor flaws from the renovation.
