The accommodation was very atmospheric, housed in a little castle‑like building. The rooms and all the other spaces were large and high‑ceilinged, with comfortable beds. Our room had a generous balcony, which was a big plus for evening outdoor seating. The surrounding park was well maintained and featured many historic vehicles. The whole property was fenced, so it felt very safe. On the floor there was a large tennis hall. Breakfast was varied and plentiful—hard to finish—and the coffee was excellent.

The location, quick service, and price were good. The empty beer cans were hidden in the cabinets, and the bedding was not great—clean but poor, especially the fitted sheet.

The property was beautiful, with friendly and helpful staff. The room needs a refresh and minor repairs—an unsealed window and a slightly worn bathtub.
