The owner’s willingness to help stood out, but unfortunately there was no air conditioning.

Everything! I was left with a wonderful impression! The owners are fantastic and kind, the room is spacious with a large terrace and a view of Etna, the cats are great, the restaurant is lovely and close, parking was fine. The only issue was that there was no wifi in the property.
The building had an elevator and free street parking underneath. Pets were allowed inside, with two cats present, which is a problem for allergy sufferers, especially when not mentioned during booking. The room doors opened with simple internal keys, so security felt low, and there was no air conditioning except a fan. The bathroom was shared with other rooms, an omission in the listing. The bed lacked top sheets; only the corner covers were provided, and in the morning we noticed the sheet was probably folded on a nearby drying rack.
