The services, cleanliness, and location were all excellent! Alessia was a truly kind, well-prepared, and available person who gave us great suggestions.

Overall good. I’m not sure what to say otherwise.

The reception was eager to do a good job. The room, clearly recently renovated, was clean, comfortable, and matched the pictures on the booking site. The real issue was the access identification (see below). The “breakfast included” turned out to be a voucher usable at a nearby cafeteria less than 5 minutes on foot. It let you experience the typical Italian breakfast but should have been warned beforehand because it can cause problems, especially with language. The advertised parking meant using public spaces in the nearby area, which didn’t cause particular difficulties. The real problem that future guests must be warned about is the identification of the arrival location. The property is in a popular neighborhood (not in the negative sense) with small buildings. The address given (Via Sabotino 7) is a green blind fence with a door that has no number or indication (see photo). We had booked the previous stop at “B&B Park Hotel” in Mondovi, a 4‑star hotel, for a comparable price. We expected a similar establishment, not an actual “B&B” since nothing indicated that in the description. We thought it was a GPS error and after several unsuccessful attempts to find a hotel or sign, we even considered the possibility of a scam. Knowing how poetic Italian street numbering can be, we finally decided to explore the perpendicular streets off Via Sabotino and there, at last, we found a sign on a small building’s door. I must honestly note that during the day the manager sent me an email asking me to text her when we were approaching. However, I don’t check my phone emails; moreover, when I later sent her other texts, she was unable to reply for an unknown reason.
