It’s a family‑friendly hotel; the owner is very friendly and tries to accommodate everyone, I even parked my bike right in the hotel, the surroundings are calm, only the nearby mosque sometimes has prayers.

“Adequate overnight stay location for adventurers”

The place is an adventure stay in a great spot for visiting the dunes, and it has AC to beat the 40+° summer heat. The owner is extremely kind and seemed fair and honest in our interactions. It’s very dusty and definitely an adventure location; the last time I stayed in a similarly off‑the‑beaten‑path place was in Huay Xai, Laos on the Mekong Delta, if that helps put it into context.

I could relax in a private room with air conditioning. The owner was also very friendly. I arrived in the morning and was able to check in immediately and unwind.

“Super Hotel mitten in Merzouga”

Mohamed is a very nice host and you can ask him anything at any time. The breakfast here is tasty and plentiful. Tea is often requested and it’s pretty good. For a fair price Mohamed even offers a road trip around the area, which is genuinely interesting and not very mainstream. The room and bathroom are fairly basic but have air conditioning, which is a lifesaver in this region during summer. The hotel’s location is central in Merzouga and everything is within a few minutes’ walk. I definitely recommend this accommodation.
