The spot’s location blew me away, the room felt snug, and the service was top‑class—Dave really went the extra mile! We’ll definitely return. They offered banana bread, snacks, and coffee that made our volcano adventure unforgettable. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The property’s lush scenery, luxurious touches, and overall hospitality surpassed everything I expected. We booked two rooms because we were traveling with our young adult kids. The jacuzzi‑style tub was incredibly relaxing. Upon arrival, complimentary snacks and freshly baked banana bread added a warm welcome. Dave answered every question instantly and even provided free laundry service, which was a lifesaver since my husband continued his trip to Oahu after our stay on the Big Island. We were lucky to catch a few hours of Kilauea erupting (Episode 49), which added excitement to our short, peaceful two‑night visit.

We had a fantastic stay at At the Crater’s Edge. From the moment we arrived, Dave made the experience feel truly special. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of charming details that made it feel warm and unique. It’s clear a lot of care went into creating a peaceful and welcoming place for guests. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the area’s beauty. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

We absolutely adored this property. Every detail was covered, nothing was overlooked. The lady covering for the regular Inn Keeper was fantastic, and we had a great chat with her before we left. Thank you so much. Nothing about this property was lacking.
