The room was very spacious with a lake view. The owner was friendly and helpful, cooked an excellent dinner for us, and prepared a perfect take‑away breakfast for the early safari morning. I would suggest a few minor bathroom upgrades.

Our host was wonderful, arranging our safari before we even arrived in Sri Lanka and preparing a packed breakfast for our 5 am start. He also cooked dinner when we came back late the night before and organized our taxi for the next stop. The location is peaceful, beautiful with lake views, and close to Yala.

A very luxurious room with all the amenities you might need, beautifully set against the sunset.

The hotel host was truly adorable; Hamit is simply the best host in his country, and I’m not afraid to say it.

I spent two fantastic days at the lake near Yala. The host took excellent care of us and was incredibly helpful. He organized a safari, rose at 4 am to give us breakfast, and the dinners were also delicious! He arranged a transfer as well. Everything was very hassle‑free. The accommodation sits right on the lake, a very quiet spot with a fantastic terrace view—a perfect oasis to relax after the safari. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely return! Thank you 🙏
