Under new management, staff could not have been better. Will return again, meals and breakfast excellent. Rooms are being upgraded by new owners. Just a few fixes and freshen up required

Check‑in went smoothly thanks to a lovely lady who swapped our room to the ground floor without any hassle. The lounge was quiet and pleasant.

Everyone on the team was brilliant, and the breakfasts were both tasty and plentiful. Our room offered a lovely view of the church, was spacious, and received good service throughout. The afternoon happy hour was a hit! However, the Internet TV kept cutting out and the Wi‑Fi signal was weak the whole time. The electrical wiring felt unsafe and would probably fail a safety inspection, and the room could use some attention to fixtures and fittings.

Breakfast was very good, and there wasn’t anything else that stood out.

The spot was gorgeous, the hotel had that cozy English charm, and the Full English breakfast was fantastic. A minor mix‑up with the room assignment happened, but it wasn’t a big deal and the staff were helpful.
