The only redeeming feature was the beautiful pool. My second stay was disappointing: I was given the last room, which had no air conditioning, a broken fan, and insufficient water because the pump was far away. The basement below my room was an open cellar, giving a messy impression. The toilet was broken, and despite notifying maintenance, nothing was fixed.

The location was good, close to the beach, rooms were spacious, and the pool was nice. However, my room wasn’t ready at check‑in, the beds weren’t very comfortable, and the sheets and pillows were subpar.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent, but for the price I was shocked that there was no soap or shower gel, no telephone at reception, no TV, and other basic hotel items were missing. The water supply failed twice, apparently being turned off on purpose. The same receptionist, Gartner, opened the garage at 2 am when we arrived. It seems the owner is trying to cut costs by exploiting staff, which is unacceptable. Nicaraguan workers have labor rights; even if they need jobs, they shouldn’t be treated like slaves. If no one complains, nothing will change. Guests pay in dollars, yet employees receive a miserable wage in córdobas that doesn’t even keep up with currency fluctuations.

The location is close to the statue, but the bathroom was dirty.

The place was very quiet and the green areas were dirty, and the breakfast service was very slow.
