“Wir hatten herrliche Tage in Bindozzino - ein perfekter Ort um in 5 Tagen das Val D‘Orcia zu erkunden. Die Familie Bindo”

The view was stunning, the large brick house made you feel 100% in Tuscany, the host provided loungers to enjoy the view and a table with chairs outside, and I recommend it 100%; everything pleased me, except that if you stay longer you’ll need to bring your own coffee, tea, salt, etc.

The spot is gorgeous, with a stunning view and clean communication, but the place feels very basic. The kitchen is barely equipped; it lacks a sharp knife, a peeler, drying towels, enough cookware, and simple items like olive oil, pepper, salt, sugar, and even coffee. Only one bowl and three wine glasses are provided, yet the room can host five people. No olive oil is available, even though it’s produced locally. Cooking is basically impossible here. The bathroom is minimal too, missing a small shelf or rack for a toilet paper roll, which is very inconvenient. Wi‑Fi is present but barely works. The bed creaks with every movement and the mattresses aren’t comfortable. It’s fine for a single overnight stop, but for a longer stay it lacks comfort and practical amenities.

The location is great, with a view overlooking the valley.

This place is a supposedly 16th‑century villa at the end of a village on a mountain top, with only the host family as neighbors, who are 200 meters away. No one else is nearby. The host is very flexible, the building is beautiful, and the surroundings are lovely. You can taste and buy olive oil from the local farm; it’s not cheap but absolutely amazing. Highly recommended because it’s not the usual store‑type experience. The kitchen is well equipped, and there are sunbeds and outdoor tables. The bed is huge and comfortable (the lower apartment, we didn’t see the upper one). Hot water is steady. A deer visited us, and the birds chirped loudly with the car in the morning. :) If you’re looking for a quiet spot, this is it. A pine tree knocked the drone off my partner’s shoulder, and it didn’t come back. That was our fault, not the host’s, but it’s missing. :( When you open the water, the electricity disappears in a millisecond. The front door is a bit stiff, but there’s another exterior door. Wi‑Fi didn’t work for us, but we never told the host; he would have fixed it. (He only speaks Italian.)
