I spent 10 days in Ladakh for the marathon and stayed at Nature Palace Farmstay, which sits right on the marathon route—perfect for training and avoiding the usual tourist crowds. The room had everything I needed for a long stay: hot water, cups, basic supplies, and even Netflix and YouTube Premium, small touches that mattered. What truly made the experience special were the family: they were warm from day one, made me feel like a family member rather than a guest, and even included me in a wedding happening at their home. The food was fantastic; a Ladakhi breakfast every morning, especially the khambir, became a favorite pre‑race carb meal. The owner personally dropped me at the marathon start line early, picked me up afterward, and even took me to the airport when I left. I came for the marathon but took back so much more than a medal—deep gratitude to the whole family at Nature Palace Farmstay.

This quaint homestay is an absolutely wonderful. It offers the best of both worlds: 1. the peaceful, serene charm of a lovely farmstay away from the hustle and bustle of Leh, yet close enough to easily access the town. 2. The property is beautiful, incredibly comfortable, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could possibly need. I have to highlight the amazing, home-cooked food—it was completely top-notch! Every single meal served here was delicious, fresh, and truly memorable

From receiving a welcome note a day before check‑in to the A‑rated service from Arif, everything was perfect, and the facility is tastefully decorated. The food was top notch. The last 200 meters to the property felt like a drive into the woods.
