“Beautiful area. Excellent accommodation. Loved the area”

The spot was perfect, the kitchen was spacious and spotless, the bedroom immaculate, and the shower area was nice and roomy; it’s close to Achill Island and just minutes from two restaurants with bars and a supermarket. Doherty’s restaurant and bar were fantastic, the food superb, and there was even entertainment. Plenty of walking spots with gorgeous views, and along the way to Achill Island you can stop for food or coffee. I’d definitely return and stay here again. Loved it.

The location was great with an amazing sea view, clean and modern. However, there was almost no sound insulation, so road noise seeped in; ear plugs are advisable for a good night’s sleep.

“Good but no contact or interaction reduces the experience despite the outstanding views”

The location was outstanding, better than anything else; breakfast was available but unstaffed, the room and building were clean, and the telescope over the bay was a nice touch. The room felt a bit too basic, with no sitting area besides the bed, and I thought it should be cleaned daily rather than only after the stay. It would be good to recommend nearby breakfast options. The lack of customer contact made the experience feel soulless, which might suit the owner.

The room was immaculate and offered sea views, and laundry facilities were available. The communal kitchen could be more organized if simple instructions were provided.

The property was clean, tidy, and well‑maintained, providing a comfortable stay, and its location was convenient with easy access to nearby amenities. The hallway light could not be turned off, disturbing the night and making it hard for kids to sleep. The bathroom’s sensor lighting made ventilation difficult during a heatwave, as we couldn’t fully open the windows for safety. The owner’s communication was slow, with replies only the next day, complicating issue resolution. The shared kitchen was confusing, with utensils spread across stations and limited guidance, and some drawer items were marked as reserved.
