We booked a studio and could move to another room the next day without any issues. The hotel staff member was very understanding. The location was perfect for us. We were housed in the “von Ralf Bauer” apartment on the 4th floor without an elevator, which is somewhat uncomfortable for older or physically limited people. The mattress was unfortunately very hard, too hard for our “lightweights”. Another small criticism is that the breakfast service was somewhat slow.

The location is very convincing. A staff member kindly carried my suitcase to the second floor. There is no lift. The room was quite dark. The breakfast is very varied, but unfortunately for vegans only peppers and cucumbers were offered! I had mentioned this beforehand.

The breakfast was fantastic—there was something that everyone in our party enjoyed! The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was huge and perfect for three people. The location was convenient too—we were close to train, tram, buses, and walking! The only downside was no elevator, and my room was on the top floor (but my legs got a great workout ;) Other than that, zero complaints!

The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly, always ready to assist wherever possible, and the hotel itself was spotlessly clean with fantastic people. It feels a bit dated, but that charm makes it highly recommendable.
