The room was clean and the air conditioning was chill. The breakfast was weak—just coffee, juice, and a few packaged donuts; I ate two. After heading to Orlando, I arrived in Tallahassee and suffered abdominal cramps, forcing me into a bathroom on the road; I feared police arrest and was in total distress. I hope they replace the donuts so future guests don’t face the same ordeal.

“Not good”

The room was acceptable, nothing spectacular. I didn’t notice any major issues, except occasional damp spots on the floor. The first night, some relatives stayed right next to me. I’m writing on behalf of a guest who found a huge spider in their shower and a thick white powdery residue in the bed where my grandson slept; it’s unclear if it was bug poison or something else. The ice machine was broken, so we couldn’t get ice. My grandson had to sleep between covers, uncertain about the powder. Every time I stay at this motel—usually at least once a month—there’s a strong marijuana scent in several spots, including the lobby, front door, and hallway near our room. My daughter is in a recovery program, so that smell is problematic. These problems might make me avoid staying here again, even though it’s usually my first choice in Pensacola.

“Absolutely never returning to this hotel”

The breakfast consisted of prepackaged powdered donuts, nothing more. The rooms were filthy, with water stains all over the ceiling, tubs that wouldn’t drain properly, ants around the windowsills, an air conditioner that was infested with roaches, and picture frames that were also roach‑laden.
