The location was perfect for what we needed since we were attending a wedding up the road, but the bed was hard even though the cushion was nice.

“Highly recommend this lovely hotel”

The reception area was beautifully furnished, comfortable and cozy; the breakfast selection was excellent and the staff were very attentive and polite. Nothing to add.

“Disappointing bedroom”

The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast offered a nice selection of fruit and eggs cooked to order, and the TV screen was large. The room felt very tired; there was only one bedside lamp, though a second one was brought quickly on request. The broken lampshade on the original lamp was replaced when asked. The hairdryer stopped after 10 seconds, had a long delay before restarting, and then operated only on a low setting; it was replaced without question, but all of this contributed to the overall tired feel of the room. There was no hanging hook in the bathroom, so there was nowhere to hang a dressing gown or towel. The bath tiles were soft but small. The bed was comfortable. The wardrobe had no doors, so everything was on display, reminiscent of a much cheaper chain of motels. There were no gardens to walk through (only the golf course, which we didn't use because we weren't golfers).

“I would like a refund it was terrible”

The bar and dining were good, but the room was awful.
