The receptionists were friendly. The housekeeping and breakfast were not up to standard.

The location is solid and the staff were friendly, even letting us leave our bags after check‑out. Breakfast was simple but had fresh fruit. The rooms feel dated—doors creak, the entrance sofa is scratched, and the room itself is dim with no spot to hang towels, so we had to borrow a chair. The mattress and pillows were too soft, towels were worn and stained, the TV was broken, and there was a water leak in the bathroom that only got fixed after we mentioned it.

The hotel is right in the heart of the city, everything within walking distance. The only downside was the window—curtains were thin, so I had to line the glass with aluminum foil to get any sleep.

I had a fantastic stay—everything from the warm, attentive staff to the delicious breakfast blew me away. The location made it easy to explore Búzios on foot, and the free bike rentals were a nice bonus I only discovered when I was about to leave. I’ll definitely book again next time I’m in town.
