Nestled 3 km from Karakol International Airport, The Way of Travelers offers family rooms with garden views, each featuring a shared bathroom, work desk, and dining table. It’s hard to judge this hostel. The owner tries hard to please everyone, but because the rooms and yurts are separated and the only social space is a small dining area, it’s difficult to meet other guests. It has potential. The bathrooms were a bit basic, which was a downgrade from what I’ve had in Bishkek, and the kitchen wasn’t really designed for cooking—small and cramped.

The host was very lovely and helpful. The hostel was clean, well equipped and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend to any tourists travelling around Karakol

Our small room was comfortable, with a nice bathroom/ toilet shared with another room—though I didn’t realise it until we left 😅. Jazbik, the owner, was very helpful and could arrange horses, accommodation, taxis, etc. to Ala‑Kul and had hiking poles to hire. There was a storage shed for gear and a nice breakfast 😁. It’s close to Duet Hostel for dinner. The only downside was a little weeding and tidying up in the garden that would be nice, and a sign with the hostel name outside would help 😁.
