The peaceful setting, stunning view, and fantastic pool were especially delightful; we were warmly welcomed, and dinner was superb with tasty food, friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for everything!

The location is a solid 11 for anyone seeking a quiet holiday, offering the most beautiful view over fields and the nearby lake, a clean and well‑maintained pool area that always has an available lounge chair. The mountain top is a 10‑minute walk to a town that offers genuine Tuscan vibes and plenty of good restaurants, ice‑cream shops, and bars. Alternatively, the beach is reachable in 15‑18 minutes, where you’ll find shopping and dining of all kinds. There are also nice bike and running trails on gravel paths free of cars, and a tennis court where you can play other sports with lights at night. The downside was the entrance to the lake: you have to “plank a fence” inside the cattle yard to get to the lake, which cost us a pair of new swimsuits for our 9‑year‑old.

What we liked most was the location itself, the pool overlooking the lake, the accommodation, the grounds, and the surrounding area; access to the lake with its crystal‑clear water even outshined the sea. We went to Follonica for the sea, but it was difficult to find a cleaner beach there; there were many spots, but compared to the Baratti Bay we visited, the water was murkier and there were far more people on the beach.

The hotel sits on a hill overlooking the Accesa lake, surrounded by lush gardens and natural greenery, with subtle lighting that highlights the pine trees at night. The infinity pool is very discreet, and guests can use the barbecue. The room is spacious and can be accessed directly from the garden. The room’s furnishings feel a bit shabby, the upkeep isn’t very meticulous, and the lack of privacy between rooms could be improved with green or floral walls.
