The place worked well for a one‑ or two‑night stay; everything was spotless and the staff were super friendly and polite. I had booked the wrong dates, but extending for an extra night in the same room was easy and appreciated. The bed was comfy and the TV functioned properly. The only drawback was the noise from the reception area, where loud religious broadcasts often played, forcing me to switch on my own TV to avoid it. Kota Bharu itself didn’t offer much interest, so I used it mainly as a convenient overnight stop rather than a destination to linger.
