The staff at this resort are truly exceptional, going above and beyond to make your stay amazing.
The hotel's location, beach, snorkeling, and pool were all major highlights of our stay.
The food was also fantastic, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked a beachfront pool villa that was nicely appointed and in a great spot. The kitchen team were especially warm and professional, and breakfast was both abundant and tasty. On arrival, we were told the boat from Kota Kinabalu to Gaya Island would cost 360 MYR (about £66), but the price had risen to 520 MYR (£95) when we were about to board, and the staff refused to honour the original quote, only informing us of the hike at the last moment. I had a three‑hour spa session – scrub, massage and facial – priced at roughly £150. The room was comfortable but not very clean, with a lot of dust under the treatment bed, and the massage and facial were only average. The wooden deck around the pool had warped planks with protruding nails, so we had to be careful not to injure our bare feet. Because the resort is isolated with few nearby attractions or local eateries, the on‑site restaurant options felt a bit limited, though the food itself was good but not varied.
The location was like paradise, with a beach and dream‑like lodgings surrounded by untamed nature, plus good restaurants and sand‑fly nuisances that were manageable thanks to small precautions and the repellent the hotel provided. On the downside, the property showed its age and the upkeep wasn’t flawless; room cleaning was sloppy—we found a tiny rodent in the room, attracted by food scraps left behind a piece of furniture from earlier guests—and the gym was old and poorly equipped.
“Séjour incroyable en pleine nature, c’était parfait”
The location was amazing, the staff took great care of us, the rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the surrounding nature was incredibly pristine.
“Séjour idyllique”
The bay was stunning, offering chances to spot wildlife—especially birds—while the tiny hotel often stood alone on the beach; the staff, led by the new manager Alex, were efficient, very friendly, and kept a low profile.
“Paradijs op aarde”
What a spot! The people were friendly and the service fantastic, and we had wonderful days.
