“Beautiful hotel with an amazing view”
The view from the room, the restaurant, and the bar was amazing; the hotel had a lot of character and was a short walk from Katoomba. However, the shampoo bottle was clearly filled with water, the TV only had one channel, and there were obvious brown stains on the white carpet.
The old‑world charm and the view from the restaurant and cocktail bar over the valley made for a wonderful start and finish to the day, and the pianist in the bar on Friday and Saturday evenings was very chill.
I liked the location and the view, and the staff were friendly and helpful, but the room wasn’t very clean.
I was very happy with the hotel and the location was good, but there was only one wine glass when there should have been three, as there were three in the room.
