Everything was comfortable. The air conditioning requires a fee, the tap water is very cold and there’s no hot water, and the electric shower only provides lukewarm water, which feels cold in the chill.

The breakfast was good but could use some improvement; the location is fine. The front‑desk lady was very polite—kudos to her. I have nothing else to complain about, except that there is no shower next to the toilet and no small wardrobe to hang shirts, dresses, pants, etc.

The place was clean and well organized. The only downside is that it sits 4 km from the historic center.

The room was spacious, but the bed was quite uncomfortable and the hotel was far from Ouro Preto’s centre, not matching the listed 3.5 km distance. My son and I arrived before check‑in time and asked to leave our bags at the front desk; the staff member, Mrs Ana, initially refused, and when I asked the owner, Mr Willian, he said we could only store them for a fee of R$ 30.00 per hour (we got there at 9 am after a bus ride). The charge seemed absurd and the staff weren’t courteous, so we had to carry our luggage around town. To make matters worse, the listing showed air‑conditioning and breakfast as included, yet both were billed separately, which felt misleading.
