The location was perfect, with shuttle buses stopping just a short walk away and a 7-11 nearby for self-catering.
The owners were super friendly and helpful, even offering to buy us a beer and dropping us off at the railway station when we couldn't find a taxi.
It felt like a home away from home.
The owners are incredibly kind and have thought of everything to make your furry friends feel welcome.

“We had a fantastic stay here in February 2026. As a group of three, this place was perfect and felt like a cosy homesty”
The stay was amazing. Yuji and his lovely wife greeted us and let us pet their cute dogs many times. All the bedrooms are upstairs, with Japanese‑style bathrooms and hot tubs downstairs. There’s a drying room for snow gear and a massage chair after a long day on the slopes. A bus stop is less than 200 m from the front, or it’s a 10‑minute walk into the main part of Echoland. We’ll book again when we return to Hakuba.
“Amazing stay, would recommend”
We were really impressed with the owners' warm welcome and accommodating nature - they even offered to pick us up from the bus terminal and provided great translation services. They really went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
“Great stay. Good value for money”
This place was a great value for the price, with a convenient location just a short walk from the Echoland main strip and good facilities. The owner was kind enough to drop us off at the bus station in the morning, which was a huge help. Everything was clean and well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay.
“Fantastic! Will come back for more skiing an sashimi”
The owners were super friendly and helpful, even offering to buy us a beer and dropping us off at the railway station when we couldn't find a taxi. The only downside was the lack of toilet paper in the room.
“Would stay again. Their dogs are cute too”
The location was perfect, with shuttle buses stopping just a short walk away and a 7-11 nearby for self-catering. The owners were down-to-earth and no-frills, but it was the little touches like the hot bath and bird-feeding table that really made our stay special. The only thing that caught us off guard was the requirement to crate our dog, which wasn't mentioned upfront.
