It was quiet and peaceful, though the internet was weak and there was no TV—just city birdsong and pleasant nature. The pool could have had a rope for swimming.

We enjoyed the tranquil setting, free of TV and internet, and it was very relaxing; the bonfire and outdoor seating were great, and living in nature felt like the old days. We might have stayed longer, but the lake wasn’t visible from the cottage and it was a bit far. The host answered every question quickly—thanks for all the help. We were three, which helped, but the forest felt dark and lonely at night, and the neighborhood was 500 m away, almost 40 min from the city. There was no basin to wash hands after using the toilet; we had to wash in the kitchen sink and then in the shower area outside in the garden. The dry toilet was uncomfortable for two of us.

First, the silence and calm; second, the house and its surroundings are meticulously cared for. The builder clearly knows his woodwork and demands perfection. The double bed is very comfortable with excellent linens and fragrant towels. The advertised bathroom is misleading—there is no bathroom inside; only a dry toilet near the kitchen where all previous guests’ waste sits. The outdoor shower is decent but not a bathroom. This kind of accommodation is better suited for one or two people, not 1.5. There is no water access; an elderly person had trouble entering and exiting the water over the grass by the shore, and there were no boats. Overall, it’s a nice place but the price is too high for the Scandinavian standard, and the customer service is lacking.

Clean, everything needed was there. The surprise was that washing was only possible outside.
