This 1714 period house was charming, with a very personable and helpful host. The garden and pool area were perfect for relaxing and having breakfast. The neighborhood was very quiet. Parking was available right in front of the accommodation. The room was spacious, clean, and exuded the ambiance of a well‑maintained house. I even played fetch with the host’s Labrador dog at breakfast. Breakfast was flawless, with some fresh host‑baked goodies. We stayed two nights and will definitely return. It’s about 10 minutes from the old town.
