All staff were really lovely and very helpful with anything needed. The airport shuttles were super handy. The bedroom was tired and could use some maintenance and redecorating. It was a shame there was no access to the indoor pool.

The hotel sits just a stone’s throw from the airport and is surprisingly inexpensive, but I’m writing mainly to thank Mona Lisa for handling all my arrival issues. She was quick and made every request feel effortless, arranging my money exchange and beach visit and staying in touch to confirm everything was fine, even helping me navigate the Indonesian menu. Having traveled worldwide, I’ve never met anyone better than Mona Lisa; she’s truly the best.

The staff were very polite and helpful, yet they couldn’t change the unacceptable overall situation. The hotel is in terrible condition, especially the exterior and pool area, which is dilapidated, broken, and unkempt to the point of danger if not fenced off. All the wooden slats are damaged, broken, or missing, posing burglary and injury risks. The larger pool is rusted, dirty, and the water isn’t filtered. The corridors smell strongly of mold. The rooms are usable and in better shape. The advertised restaurant offerings (cocktails and long drinks) are unavailable, apparently due to a lack of alcohol; instead, one can buy bottles of alcohol at an exorbitant price. The photos on the website are heavily edited. Unfortunately, the management is inflexible and couldn’t assist us on site.

I had a big room, a great shower, and excellent breakfast. The hotel is close to the airport, the staff were friendly, and the pool view was amazing. The internet didn’t let me watch YouTube or Netflix.
