The food was good, but the room’s furnishings were very old and didn’t match the picture; the double bed had mismatched covers, giving everything a dull look, which made one night tolerable.

Breakfast was excellent, the hotel was quiet on Monday and Tuesday, and we left on Wednesday; Sunday’s dinner was also great and we were served very politely. We were only there briefly, the value for money was very good, and there were no complaints.

Absolute quiet and good food.

The stay didn’t meet expectations; we had to ring the bell multiple times before someone opened the door. The hotel is old and, in my view, the price‑to‑value ratio is off. While walking through the Harz, we ate there; the pizza seemed like a pre‑made pizza and was too expensive for the price. The next morning we opened the front door ourselves and left the key on the table because no staff were available just before 8 am.
