The location is ideal for exploring Matera’s historic centre, and the room is very clean and well equipped. The only downside was the lack of a window, and parking was a bit of a hassle – it took 45 minutes before we finally found a spot on the street right above the building.

An amazing stay in Matera! The spot is just a few blocks from the centre, so walking around the city is a breeze. Mattia’s hospitality was outstanding; he was always attentive and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Checkout was punctual at 10:00 a.m., and the cleaning crew arrived right on time.

The place is great, and Mattia was very helpful, offering excellent recommendations. I had asked beforehand if the room I booked had a window, and was told it did, but it turned out to be a tiny window overlooking the hallway, making it hard to get fresh air into the room.

The room and bathroom were very nice, the staff were fantastic, and there was coffee and tea in the room along with a comfortable bed. It’s close to the centre and restaurants, and Matera was great in every way.
