The lobby and patio are pleasant spots where you can sit down and even bring your own snacks, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately the rooms feel tiny and show signs of wear – the fixtures need a bit of fixing. Overall, the public spaces make up for the cramped sleeping quarters, but you’ll have to tolerate the dated feel inside.

The place is clean and comfortable, with shared areas that are well‑kept. A big plus is the 24‑hour coffee service that’s included in the price, so you can grab a drink whenever you like. Nothing else stood out as a problem.

Don Julio, the owner, went out of his way to help us, and the location can’t be beat – just two blocks from the main square and a short walk to the pier for glacier tours. Breakfast is pretty basic, but the fact that it’s available from midnight is a lifesaver for early‑rising travelers. The only hiccup was a weak shower that needed a hand to keep the water from spraying the wall, and the room could have been tidier after cleaning. Still, I’d stay here again if I return to Puerto Natales.

Julio’s service is nothing short of phenomenal; he was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly. I didn’t encounter any drawbacks during my stay.
