Thoddoo Sun Sky Inn, Maldives

The garden was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the staff kind. Hassan came to the pier and arranged the transfer for the return trip. He helped with bike rentals for 5 dollars a day, and we went on a half‑day boat trip with sharks, rays, a sandbank, and breakfast for 75 dollars. Breakfast was always the same: pancakes, pastries, fruit. There was a water fountain at the hotel. We were satisfied. The accommodation was quiet, only the early‑morning music was a bit loud, but that’s heard all over the island. They also dealt with mosquitoes.

Nothing. This is the eighth island in the Maldives where we were so poorly accommodated for 87 dollars. Breakfast consisted of boiled eggs, mashed potatoes with a lot of onions, and leftovers from two rotis. The island is famous for its fruit, which is why we came, but breakfast had five pieces of watermelon and a little pineapple from Sri Lanka. On the second morning we didn’t get breakfast because it wasn’t ready before seven in the morning. But let them win from that. This breakfast doesn’t even cost a dollar. The room was dark, damp, and had a smell that made the bathroom fan run all night. The bathroom door creaked constantly; if I had machine oil I would have oiled it. There could have been at least one more night locker. This place is for no more than two nights. I don’t know what the other guests liked so they gave such high ratings.

“A wonderful stay”

This guesthouse is nice and well‑located on the island. Rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Food is good and always homemade by the owner's wife. The staff are polite and helpful. Bikini beaches are reachable in 15 and 20 minutes walking. In the end, let’s talk about the owner, Hassan… Believe me, he’s simply the best, you’ll feel at home. “Pratelske misto pro dovolenou”

The accommodation is in a quiet spot, Hassan and his guys always provide everything needed, nothing was a problem :-) The breakfasts and dinners were great, everything tasted good. Coffee, tea, and drinking water were constantly available.
