“Flawed but has great potential for another stay.”
The building’s entry system with passcodes and room keys was easy to use. I appreciated the gift pack, though it felt a bit generic; a shower gel and better snacks would make it more appealing, but that’s a minor detail. The room, bathroom, and kitchen were all spotless, and the free coffee machine was a must‑have for mornings. The spot is close to two Metro stops, a tram line, supermarkets, and the waterfront. The hosts replied quickly and were helpful. On the downside, my room (1) faced the street and was very noisy Saturday night, which wasn’t ideal for a good night’s sleep. I felt safe walking around alone but didn’t enjoy the constant drug offers; I learned to spot and decline the offenders. Rooms share bathrooms with labels on the doors, but that system relies on other guests respecting it. One morning my shower ran out of hot water, and another time I couldn’t use my own bathroom because another guest was selfish. A second visit would give me a chance to prepare for these inconveniences.
