“A restful stopover on the way to the airport”
Mactan Cebu is a good stop in or out of the airport What we liked the most: - the excellence of the hotel’s teams: smiling and caring, polite and efficient. - the pool and the access to the nearby private beach when the pool is a great addition especially if you’re traveling with kids - the comfort of the rooms. The difficulty to find a room to accommodate 2 adults and one kid The rudeness of some of the guests (but we really appreciated how the restaurant staffs handled them, politely and firmly)
The hotel sits right in the middle of Cebu, but the foyer and lift area had a strong chemical smell that drifted into the dining space, and the breakfast coffee was weak from a dispenser even though a proper machine sat just outside the dining area.

It was centrally located near the beach and perfect for visiting Cebu, but the housekeeping didn’t meet German standards—nothing filthy or chaotic, just not thorough, which caught my eye since I run a hotel myself.
I wasn’t expecting that the beach was not on the same property. It was never mentioned on the website.

The apartment was gorgeous and in a fantastic spot close to the beach, which we could access as guests.
