It was a mixed experience. The hotel’s location is perfect, just a stone’s throw from a large shopping center, which is very convenient. The staff were welcoming and pretty friendly throughout our stay. The pool is a real highlight: very beautiful, well maintained, and spotless (even though we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy it!). On the downside, the room was a lot more lukewarm: the equipment is really old and everything starts to show its age. Cleanliness was lacking and clearly not impeccable. To top it all off, the bed was not very comfortable, ruining the quality of our night. It’s a place with potential thanks to its location and pool, but it would really benefit from a good renovation and stricter cleaning.

For family of 6, the space and cooking facilities does help a lot. While it's an old facility, it's a decent condition for what you pay. Rest after a long day exploring Jakarta. If you want top luxury new facility get ready to pay more. So Grand Tropic is just nice. Maybe they need to do bits of touch up here and there. BTW bring back the old breakfast glory between year 2010 to 2018. This time the breakfast is not what we want, so we opt out

Near so many malls and towers and on main highway. Washroom no hand shower no soap how to clear commode after finish specially not good for muslim. Room always smelli when you enter smell like some very old storage container you enter simple tv
