The rooms have been nicely renovated and are spacious; the only downside is the lack of hot water. Despite the severe earthquake, the hotel showed no visible cracks, which I consider solid and earthquake‑proof. The facilities don’t fully match a 5‑star property, but a 4‑star rating is definitely appropriate.
