The place was cozy with a comfortable bed and a good location, though the neighborhood was a bit noisy. The bathroom was broken and would not open when it rained or when the wind was strong, so I couldn’t even take a shower. I requested room cleaning twice a week, but they only did it once every two weeks and otherwise didn’t care.

It was a large, cozy place, but it sat right in the middle of Kerobokan. Shops were nearby, there was a kitchen, a fridge, a shower, internet… The beach was a bit far.

The place was very private, safe, quiet, clean, with fast wifi and all the standard kitchen equipment, a fridge, a semi‑outdoor bathroom, a separate toilet with a sitting area, a washbasin and a wudhu area, a balcony with a chair and a drying rack – it felt like my own house. I stayed alone for work and a vacation, then extended for another week after a week. The location was close to a laundry and a buffet restaurant in Banyuwangi (I mostly ordered online food) and the city center of Bali. The location was hard to find, but by the second week it was on Google Maps. Parking was better with a rented motorbike because cars were hard to park. I never met the receptionist; all communication was through the number listed in front of the gate, and a key would be given, and if there were any problems we’d contact via WhatsApp. For me that wasn’t a big issue because everything was taken care of at check‑in.
