I landed in Chiang Mai on a flight at 10 pm and the host had planned to pick me up at the airport, but I didn’t receive his message and missed the pickup. When I finally arrived, the staff were still friendly and helped me check in. The room was spacious, well‑organized, the bathroom was comfortable, and the whole room was made of wood—walking around made a slight creaking sound. There’s no elevator or fancy hotel amenities, but it felt like home, which I really liked. They left some biscuits, a glass bottle of water, and even beer (payable if you drink). Overall, great. The only issue was that breakfast was supposed to be included; the host left, so I didn’t get breakfast for two days and no refund or compensation was offered.
